Who are we?

In the 1970s a group of forward thinking Republicans led by Paul Thornbrugh came together to form the "Tulsa County Republican Men's Club." For almost 40 years the club met monthly in order to organize, motivate, and lead fellow Republicans to change the direction of local, state, and national government....one voter at a time. Through Thornbrugh's leadership, the club made inroads into an Oklahoma political climate that was dominated by Democrats. It was through this organization's leadership and by others like it, that Tulsa County became the Republican stronghold that it is.

In 2008, the Tulsa County Republican Men's Club expanded it's name slightly by simplifying it. While the club is still officially the Tulsa County Republican Men's Club, it now simply goes by the "Tulsa Republican Club". The shortened name was devised in order to expand its membership by including leading female Republicans as well as expanding its base in the downtown Tulsa business community.

Currently the club meets atop the Summit Club for its monthly meetings (the third Friday of each month) from 11:30a - 1:00p. We invite you to become a part of this exciting time of growth as the Tulsa Republican Club commits to educating fellow Republicans and putting forth the message of Republican ideals.
